- Synopsis
- Friends Mary, Juana, and Sonia struggle after Hurricane Maria hits Puerto Rico and there’s loss of electricity and water. Sonia has migraines and she recently discovers the benefits of medicinal cannabis. She decides to help Juana, a cancer survivor, deal with her discomfort and insomnia with this natural medicine, but she’ll have to make a "batch" of cannabis brownies so she won’t know the ingredients. Juana feels so wonderful that she decides to share them with all her neighbors with ailments and the brownies become a hit. Sonia shares her secret with Mary and Juana and all three decide to make brownies not only to help their neighbors, but also to buy a solar panel to help with their current situation. They will join forces to sell as many brownies as possible, but not everyone in the neighborhood agrees with their strategy and things will get out of control along the way.
