- Synopsis
- Shiyori is a college student who just broke up with her boyfriend. Her friend, Aiko, invites Shiori to visit Ashikari, a remote village in a hot springs area, to mend her broken heart. But scattered throughout the village are strange one-legged scarecrows and the atmosphere is ominous.
  
  Bathing in the hot springs at night, the two girls fight over Shiyori’s ex-boyfriend. Leaving the bath first, Shiyori takes her cell phone to the waterfall and throws it in, hoping to forget all about her former boyfriend.
  
  Returning to her room alone, Shiyori hears another cell phone ringing. Following the sound to its source, she answers a call from unknown man. Terrified, she answers and a man’s voice shouts, “Just get the hell out of there! They’ll cut your leg off! If they catch you, they’ll make a living sacrifice out of you!”
  The stranger then begins to tell her about the terrifying ancient rituals still practiced in the village…
  
  Who is the man? Is he just teasing Shiyori? And why did Aiko bring her to this village?
  
  Soon, suspicious villagers start visiting Shiyori, who sends a text message to her friend Aiko, who won’t answer her phone. “Things are bad. Contact me immediately.”
  
  Not knowing who to trust, Shiyori races out of her room, the mysterious cell phone in hand, to escape the villagers hot on her trail… Just then, a text message from Aiko, still trapped in the hot springs, “I’m in trouble! Come now!”
