At the beginning of the 20th century, marked by his trip to Paris, the summit of modernism, the young writer Horacio Silvestre Quiroga flees with his girlfriend to the Misiones jungle, where, facing wild nature, he will try to build his home.

- Synopsis
- 1900. After the death of his stepfather, the young writer Horacio Silvestre Quiroga undertakes a trip to Paris, the summit of modernism, without knowing that this trip will be a before and after for him, as it will sow within him the seed of the conquest of nature as the basis for his freedom.
  
  Upon returning to his homeland, and after some family tragedies and failed experiences of living in the city, Quiroga flees with his girlfriend, María Cyres, to the Misiones jungle, where he will face the harsh nature in pursuit of being able to build his home.
  
  Immersed in his work and in his desire to achieve the long-awaited freedom in his personal paradise, Horacio Quiroga fails to see how this search slowly begins to sink his family into darkness and leads to a new tragedy, which will not stop haunting him until his death.
