- Synopsis
- In November 2015, on a deserted beach of the Greek Island
  Ikaria, Icarus(35) saved a shipwrecked woman of Arab origin,
  Miriam (25). Miriam is an illegal refugee from Syria.
  Miriam starts working in a tavern as a waitress. The owner is
  Eleni (40), who lives with her son Vangelis. Icarus and Miriam
  slowly get to know each other; the attraction is mutual, but
  their haunted past doesn't leave them free.
  The story goes back one month:
  Miriam survived a Jihadist attack in her village, where her
  mother was raped and killed by the Jihadist leader Xassan. At
  the same time, she was raped by Hassan's brother. But with her
  aunt Fatima, she managed to escape killing Hassan's brother
  and wounding him. Hassan, after that, tries to find her for
  revenge. In Miriam's attempt to go to Greece, the boat sinks,
  and she is the only one that survives.
  Icarus arrives in Paris to accomplish one more mission as he
  works for a company that helps people commit suicide. In a
  restaurant, his victim, Christine, confesses that she wants to
  kill herself because her ex-boyfriend (Hassan) killed her out
  of jealousy of her husband, which led her to miscarriage. The
  Jihadist's attack in Paris on 13/11/15 destroys the
  restaurant, and later, instead of killing her, they make love
  when they go to Icarus's room.
  Christine returns to her job in Military service. She contacts
  the company Icarus used to work for and hires another
  assassin, Shadow, to find Hassan and kill him.
  Back in the present time
  Vangelis tries to rape Miriam, and she finds a safe place in
  Icarus's home. They reveal their dark past and try to get
  close, but it is very difficult. Months pass between an
  extremely difficult symbiosis and a mismatch of characters.
  Finally, they make love and start their true relationship. But
  at the same time, danger from all parts comes closer to them.
  Through the script's plot, heroes converge on the 15 of August
  2017 in the festival of Ikaria. Hassan to kill Miriam,
  Christine and Shadow to kill Hassan.
  Hassan spots Christine, realizes she came with Shadow for him
  and kills Shadow. After that, he is ready to kill Miriam, but
  at the last minute, Christine kills him. Also, she kills
  Icarus by accident and then shoots herself.
  Five years later, Miriam stays in Icarus's home with the
  family from Siria and her child from Icarus.
