- Synopsis
- Faced with the inescapable threat of climate change, how will humans manage to adapt over time? Unveiling one by one episodes marked by violence or gentleness, WAITING FOR THE STORMS is a journey to the heart of a world devastated by global warming. Vacillating between the reality of a bygone era and the prospect of an anguishing future, this dystopian film is constructed mainly from a series of still images and supported by a narrative framework imbued with a sensitivity intimately linked to the characters. It thus calls upon the formal properties of cinema, photography and literature to propose a fable on the Anthropocene Epoch.
