- Synopsis
- Mino Reitano thought that if in music “the rhythm dominates the melody, the trap is the noise”. In his life, the melody that had accompanied and guided him since he was a child, protected him from the noise of tunes and sounds (as he himself called them), had a very specific name: family. In particular, Franco. A link between Franco and Mino, the youngest two of five brothers, is told in the feature film from the eyes of Rocco, Franco's son. Rocco retraces their memories backwards: from Mino's memorable duet with Frank Sinatra in Miami in 1974, to the beginnings of the band "I fratelli Reitano” in Germany in the sixties next to the still unknown Beatles, to overcoming the loss of their twenty-one-year-old sister Gianna, and the premature death of Mino’s mother when he was only two years old.
