    • Synopsis
    • Vincent's mother wanted to go to the sea one last time before dying. She didn't succeed while she was alive, but Vincent is going to take her ashes with him to the sea, somehow. The biggest problem is how to get there, since Vincent suffers from Tourette Syndrome, has been packed off to a clinic by his father, a smug, self-important politician who's ashamed of his son. Vincent knows that his increasingly uncontrollable tics make it nearly impossible for him to function normally, so he gives in.
Under the guidance of the hyper therapist Dr. Rose, Vincent moves in with obsessive-compulsive Alex and makes friends with the anorexic Marie. The trio makes off with Dr. Rose's battered car and heads for Italy with the ashes of Vincent's mother. Right behind them are Vincent's father and Dr. Rose, a constantly bickering couple that could easily pass for neurotic themselves.
Vincent, Marie and Alex may be driving each other crazy with their ailments, but they're in this adventure together, surmounting problems and, more importantly, discovering freedom, friendship and love. When Marie is taken to a hospital to be force-fed, and begs Vincent to help her flee, Vincent, who's found love for the first time in his life, has to take a painful decision.
