    • Aria Sawyer is after one thing - a seat in Parliament - and she gets it, along with bragging rights as being the youngest in Jamaica's history to pull it off. However, the sweet taste of victory quickly grows sour when her popularity in TrayTown, the community she represents is increasingly diminishing. TrayTown, though not destitute, is a community made of working class with minimal education and with little or no prestige - a distinct opposite to Aria Sawyer. Dubbed as an outsider, she struggles to keep up appearances to win the community’s heart! Even with her husband Dimitri by her side, himself a TrayTown native, Aria suffers rejection at the hands of the people.

Janelle Rose journalist, born and raised on TrayTown Avenue, considers herself an authority on TrayTown, the unforgiving space that rejected her for simply being who she is. And it is during a rare sit-down interview with Aria that Janelle comes to realize that the two, although raised on opposite sides of the spectrum shares the same passion for making a difference in the lives of others. They end up sharing a kiss.

When Aria starts to get sloppy with all her sneaking around and last minute, late night meetings, Dimitri learns of his wife’s affair with Janelle. Coming out was never a viable option for Aria but, following the violent deaths of two closeted men in TrayTown on her watch coupled with the failure of her marriage Aria is forced to choose, her seat in parliament or love.
