- Synopsis
- The plot unfolds around DA FÉ, a 15 year old resident of the fictional “favela” DDC. Intelligent, a total dreamer and addicted to movied, Da Fé is secretly in love with Gildinha, his best friend’s older sister – his crush since childhood. But Gildinha, to Da Fé’s dismay, is the new girlfriend of the newly installed drug lord at the DDC, Do Morro. Da Fé, inspired by his favorite filmmaker Quentin Tarantino and trying to spark Gildinha’s interest, sees only one way out: to become a bigger, badder criminal than his rival Do Morro.
  Problem is, our hero hasn’t gotten the least amount of talent for the life of crime...Our "hero" sets up as his "crew" his cowardly best friend Bracinho, 16. His other crew member is Torrado, Da Fé’s little brother, who is under his care after their parents died.
  Across town, WANDERLEI, an inept reporter, needs to show to his editor-in-chief that he is able to interview and photograph the new leader at the DDC in order to keep his job. To make matters worse for Wanderley, he will still need to compete for the picture with SABRINA, famous photographer recently hired by his newspaper.
  Things look really bad for Wanderlei. Until his path crosses with Da Fé and his crew’s in a bakery, when Wanderlei overhears them repeating some lines off of Reservoir Dogs and Wanderlei mistakes them for real criminals. Under pressure from the upcoming deadline, he decides to photograph them as the new head honchos at the DDC .
  The publication of the photo leads to an unexpected twist in the lives of all the characters - that will lead Da Fé to confront the real drug dealer for the love of Gildinha - and the title of “Big Boss of the DDC”.
