- Synopsis
- Caterina is an introvert and ambitious girl of 23. She has just moved to Naples from a small province of Rome to do an internship in an ancient and prestigious library. Here she meets Tea, a charismatic filmmaker who is the same age as her, but with a completely different background: she’s from an aristocratic Neapolitan family.
  They are so much in love that, when Tea gets selected in a film school in Lyon, Caterina leaves everything behind just to follow her.
  In Lyon we are transported by a surgical dissection of their love. Caterina doesn’t have a job and she feels wrong for this. Tea does have her own place in this new world but she’s not able to see what Caterina is going through and this will lead them apart. Broken by an unbearable pain Caterina finds herself in an abyss, and like Daphne in the myth, she decides to set herself free: she leaves Tea and Lyon.
  Two years later they meet in Rome where Caterina comes to terms with the ghosts of this story. She’s all grown up now and she knows that their feelings survive but their story disintegrates facing reality.
