    • Synopsis
    • Hong Kong's most celebrated "woman's director" Stanley Kwan is directing the first filmic adaptation of a deeply symbolic novella from Chinese writer Han Han. Han Han is a best-selling novelist and a 300 million-hit blogger in China, named by TIME magazine’s “TIME 100” as one of the most influential artists of 2010.
“His world does not exist in this world,” writes Han Han in the preface to his book. In a barren land during a bizarre era, people strive to make their existence meaningful. One young idler, racing through the fog on his motorbike, tries to find an elusive glimmer of light. He thinks he found love. Yet he is hardly aware that everything will soon be over. For true love does not exist in this world. True love is an awakening of the heart.
