- Synopsis
- Abhiraj Malhotra, a Dehradun based businessman in his early 50s, leads his life in solitude. His only companion is the memories of his dead wife, Sunita, whom he loved dearly and had lost to cancer ten years ago. Abhiraj is still faithful to her deceased wife and that is why he deprive himself of worldly pleasures. But, one day, owing to a strange coincidence, Matun, a twenty plus vivacious girl, comes to live in his house and she changes his views about his love for his dead wife and the way he looks at the things around him. He finds that like his wife Sunita, Matun has a special knack to win over people.
  Finally, he finds himself hopelessly in love with her. Matun also loves him madly and she slowly drags him out of the cobweb of self-imposed suffering and pain. Abhiraj begins to enjoy life once again and ready to embark on a new journey of relationship when he accidently discovers that Matun has come to him with an agenda. She has come here to trap him in her deceitful love and to rob him. Abhiraj also finds that his most trusted employee Suraj is working hand in glove with Matun. Unable to bear these shocking revelations, Abhiraj dies instantly.
  The sudden death of Abhiraj shakes Matun from inside and she goes through a great emotional upheaval as she holds herself responsible for Abhiraj’s untimely death. She had come here to execute a conspiracy hatched by Suraj but in course of time, she had begun to love Abhiraj. She grieves his death and decides to leave the place immediately. But, then the will of Abhiraj is read and it says that she has been made the sole owner of all his properties. She decides to stay back and to use the wealth left by Abhiraj to build a huge hospital which was a dream project for Abhiraj. She finishes her task in next 5-6 years and then she renounces the world to become an ascetic.
  In short, it is a story of a devious con-artist who redeems herself by transforming herself into a kind hearted woman and philanthropist.
