    • Synopsis
    • THE STOP was inspired by Italian composer Paterlini. Our short dance film is about love. Moreover, it is a film about love at first sight. The casual meeting of two lonely people at the bus stop unexpectedly generates great feeling in their hearts. They plunge into it and do not notice the events around. For them the cold and rain become unimportant. The story's solution helps the audience see the film from a new point of view. It is not just a movie about love at first sight, but also about the relationship of children and parents. Even if between them there are conflicts, parents will always be near, wishing to help, to protect and support. This film is about the need of parents to reconcile to leaving their beloved children in adulthood. Even if it is difficult for them, they will sincerely be glad for their daughter or their son who found their happiness.
The rain and music for us are indissoluble, acting in parallel, growing stronger and then calming down. The Stop unexpectedly becomes a gateway to the another world in which miracles may happen. Participation in our dance film by the dramatic actor Nikolay Burov in the role of the father helps make the movie more vital and reliable. The young woman is played by Maria Marinova-Vasilieva, a top dance Champion in Russia, Vice Champion of Europe, and finalist of World Champion in Tango Argentina. Anton Popichenko as the young man is twice Champion of Russia in Milonga, several times finalist of Europe, finalist of Mundial in Tango Argentina, winner of Blackpool Dance Festival, and recipient of the Isadora Duncan Prize.
