- Synopsis
- Finally at a permanent job, Anamarija (32) starts out as a primary school counsellor with much enthusiasm, adapting to a close circle of teachers, who are divided in cliques, but bound by many years of complex relationships. She soon realizes that her mediating position and the ambiguous nature of her job as someone who is responsible both for the children’s protection and the school’s reputation, put her at the intersection of various attacks: from the principal, from the parents and from her colleagues.
  
  Discouraged by unintentional conflicts, Anamarija must wage her own war against Jambrovic, a middle-aged history teacher, whose egocentric and paranoid behavior in class worries both her and the parents. However, not one move she does counts only for itself, and her actions are continuously under scrutiny. She constantly needs to act strategically, not only with Jambrovic, but soon with the much more threatening figure of the principal Vedrana.
  
  Through unwanted assignments, stressful confrontations and constant chit-chat, Anamarija will start to doubt her strength to handle the never-ending pressures of doing the “right thing”. And she will find herself fighting the toughest battle there is: accepting that she is not as strong as she thought.
