- Against the background of a Roman school we follow the stories of a history of art professor who has lost his passion for the job and is now being targeted by an ex pupil of his, a young temporary Italian Lit teacher who is doing his best and trying to
  “save” a very eccentric and rebel female student, and a very stern and irreproachable head mistress who is forced to deal with a strange student who has been forgotten by his mother....
  Based on the book by the same title written by Marco Lodoli and directed by Giuseppe Piccioni Il Rosso e il Blu (The Red and the Blue) is a comedy about the school environment, an ensemble narrative that combines emotion and irony, with a cast of up-and-coming actors led by three great performers: Margherita Buy, Riccardo Scamarcio e Roberto Herlitzka.
