At the beginning of the 20th century, football emerged in Aragón and by the 1920s it had become a mass sport. Two visionaries stood out above the rest: José María Gayarre, the first president of Real Zaragoza, and José María Muniesa, one of the architects of the first Spanish football league. With the Spanish Civil War, everything tragically vanished.
This docufiction explores key events in the history of Aragonese football, highlighting the interconnection between the sport, the economy, and society. By immersing us in the emotional legacy of players, fans, coaches, and executives, it unravels the story behind this sport, revealing its deep ties to the evolution of society.
