- Synopsis
- Vittorio (28) a well know anarchist gets arrested and sent to the Oasis an experimental prison in the middle of the desert. The Oasis is free. There are no guards, no fence, no limits and the little group of inmates lives on its own rules. As soon as he gets there Vittorio starts looking for a way out but the unwillingness of the inmates and the infinity of the desert combined with the good vibe of the place and the very sexy Giulia almost change his mind. But when he discovers that the water in the well at the Oasis comes directly from the outside world through a pipeline that crosses the desert his eagerness for getaway comes back. Giulia tries to talk him out but Vittorio asks her to go with him. She thinks it’s suicidal but Vittorio is rock determined. So stronger measures has to be taken to keep him there. Suddenly that hippy village prison turns into a cell where everyone is a guard. Eventually Vittorio will discover that they don't want him to go because there is a deal in place since the foundation of the Oasis. It will remain a free place like it is until no one will getaway. Vittorio doesn’t like the deal and he asks if anyone agrees with him. It turns out that just a few knew the deal and the people of the Oasis starts asking questions to those ones who knew. Not everyone feels the same way and someone helps Vittorio to prepare. The kingdom of freedom turns into a tribe full of disputes once everyone was told the truth and that will be the extra motivation for him to ride a bike through the burning desert.
