- Synopsis
- Broken and in poor health, we meet a Chan Ho Nan mourning the death of his lover, and accused of the assassination of Chicken. He is unable to remember why he sought power in the first place. Going on a self-imposed exile to Laos, Chan Ho Nan leaves behind everything, starting a fresh life cleaning at a Muay Thai gym. The gym is run by Pai Yon and his son, Pai Yi Lin, both righteous and idealistic, alone in a country where all the fights, from the streets to the championships, are rigged by the a Mafia society called the Old Black. When his new-found friends are threatened, Chan Ho Nan remembers he joined the triad to protect the weak, to fight only to end fighting. He calls home to Broad Skies and Broad Skies arrives with the manpower and ammunition to bring down the Old Black. When the dust has settled, a new clue emerges about Chicken’s death, and Chan Ho Nan returns to Hong Kong to find the true killer.
