- On his 70th birthday, a seasoned Italian gambler, who bases his luck on a deep study of probability and statistics, receives a strange secret as a gift:
  In the north of Brazil there is small fishing town where women are so beautiful that their love makes men rejuvenate. In search of his last chance to love, Mateo travels there and falls madly in love with Marcia, the most beautiful young woman in town. Using all his resources and expertise, Mateo manages to found with her a promising relationship that will be sealed in a few days with a romantic engagement.
  
  But in the midst of the preparations for the opulent feast, a historic business opportunity lies before him: a 10-year-old boy, with never-before-seen abilities to play soccer, will be the architect of the imminent coronation of the regional team in the state championship. But that's not all, since the boy is not simply a prodigious left foot, but also the possible secret son of a recently deceased legendary player who used that island to escape from the paparazzi.
