"The Desert Bride" is the story of Teresa, a 54-year-old woman who works as a domestic servant in a family home in Buenos Aires. For decades she has taken refuge in the routine of his duties but now, after the family decision to sell the house and after years of service, is adrift. Without alternatives, she accepts a new job in the province of San Juan.
Leave the city behind to surrender without suspecting it, at the will of the unpredictable. At her first stop, the Sanctuary of "La Difunta Correa", Teresa loses the bag in which she carries her only belongings. The unexpected accident will lead her to cross the desert "cuyano" with a stranger, the Gringo, his new enrolled companion.
As the journey progresses and together they enter the different universes, this silent and opaque woman will slowly dye herself of color and life.
