- Synopsis
- The film reveals an inner strength of women who escape from stereotypes: they can do this, in the fragile neighbourhood of Forcella in Napoli, thanks to the rare social theatre group founded by Marina Rippa, an artist who has dedicated her entire life to create an intimate dimension of freedom, sisterhood and mutual care, the same that she deeply needs now, after the tragic loss of her husband and life partner. Marina is the only one who’s able to give voices to those women who feel to have nothing to say; in her hands, their fragility becomes art, strength and beauty. She has been feeding them, like the colorful plants of her terrace at home: this cure needs time – the hardest concept nowadays. Art, as women’s life, need cure, time and dedication. The atmosphere of mutual care she created during the years, is today the purest feeling: that place is their true home now. The paradox is that, the training course, after 25 years of activity, still does not have a space where to rehearse and perform. And this is part of the film too inside the heart of the extraordinary city of Napoli.
