- Synopsis
- Cats is a documentary that follows Dilan, a young transgender born in Cazucá, Soacha, the days before and after leaving a correctional facility, after 7 years of being deprived of liberty. Dilan, at 18, has the expectation of what his new life will be. While serving his sentence, his sister, his mother and his grandmother are murdered. The reasons for these murders are due to past vendettas; since his family found in crime the way to survive. When he leaves, he hopes he will not inherit the family vendettas of the past; and find a new path, away from the street, so as not to repeat his families story. We’ve been following Dilan and his family for 10 years, thus creating an intimate and unimaginable approach to the events in his life and their consequences. Will Dilan be able to break his destiny marked by frustration and violence?
