- Synopsis
- Peter receives a prestigious award at a gala event, with his friends and family around him. They drink champagne. In the morning, hung over and clearly in a strange mood he is taken by boat to a small lighthouse island, where he stays, alone. Angrily throwing his phone into sea, he fills a small rucksack with rocks then walks into the sea to take his own life. But before he can he notices a young Asian boy, about 8 years old, floating in the water nearby, barely alive. Peter pulls the boy ashore and resuscitates him.
  They have no common language, and the boy is terrified. It takes a while for him to trust Peter or to eat the food Peter offers. But then he eats too much, too quickly, and throws up - a small tightly wrapped packet of cocaine. Peter makes him vomit again, and more packets with over half a kilo of drugs come out of the boy. Peter finds an electronic tracking device in one of the bags and realises that soon, someone will come looking.
  Later on the shore, he finds the body of an Asian man, who has been shot and his stomach cut open. The boy is shocked when he sees the dead man, who could be his father. Peter knows that they’re dealing with very dangerous people. To get rid of the beacon, he swims out to sea and throws it away. Then a yacht approaches.
  Annika, the woman on the yacht, is not as harmless as she at first seems. She forces Peter to care for her partner Sami, who has a serious neck wound. Knowing that she will kill him and the boy, too, Peter convinces her that she needs him to take care of Sami, whom they return to the yacht after Peter’s minor surgery on his neck.
  Seizing his first opportunity, Peter hits Annika over the head and flees with the boy and Sami on the yacht. But Annika has sabotaged the electrical system. She swims to the yacht, just as Peter and the boy escape in a motorboat. Suddenly the boy is taken ill and Peter suspects that one of the drug bundles has ruptured. Peter sees an anchored freighter and carries the boy onboard. The ship is empty, but there are bloodstains everywhere. Peter has no time to lose: finding the tools he needs in the kitchen, he performs surgery on the boy, removing the leaking bag.
  On the bridge to call for help, Peter spots the yacht tied to the freighter. He hides the boy and runs to the deck, where Annika shoots him, knocking him from the ship onto the yacht. With a minor wound, Peter has the chance to escape but he returns for the boy’s sake. He frees him and then faces Annika in a fight for life and death.
