- Synopsis
- Chico and Fuentes are two small-time crooks that live off cons and robberies. Even though Chico considers himself a master of crime almost all his plans fail. They have both lived most of their lives in the USA, Chico is a Portuguese emigrant and Fuentes is Spanish. Since they are already “burned” in “Uncle Sam’s land” they decide to go to Europe in search of the perfect con. Portugal is the perfect place for it due to Chico’s Portuguese roots.
  Already in Portugal and after a new failed attentive robbery to a bullfight ring of a small rural village from where Chico ends up with an ear cut off, They are contacted by an old, strange butler, Augusto, that hires them to rob an estate. The estate belongs to a Countess for whom he works for over 35 years.
  The deal is to steal a still life painting – The Pears of Saint Rémi by Vincent Willem, or shall we say: Vincent Van Gogh, worth five million Euros.
  This time around the plan seems perfect – Chico believes that he finally is going to achieve his biggest dream: to make his final job and write his name in the encyclopedia of crime.
  But destiny has other plans… Gomes a dangerous bandit has just been set free after ten years doing time. Gomes has only one goal: to get his revenge from the old butler because his brothers were killed and he was arrested after a failed robbery at the Countess estate.
  aring up with a guy named Coxo, Gomes decides to go to the estate to fulfill his “mission”. The day and the hour coincide with Chico and Fuentes’ Plan.
  But that’s not the only surprise. “Our heroes” are going to find out, perhaps a bit too late, that the Countess and the butler are sadistic lovers that have fun by killing criminals that try to rob the estate.
  It all started 10 years earlier when Gomes and his brothers tried to steal the estate. It was that night after all the commotion that the butler and the Countess awoke an intense passion.
