    • Synopsis
    • Amin, an extreme Islamist leader in the small Bangladeshi village, puts a taboo on any images. This quiet village starts to stir, when Kumar, an elementary school teacher, buys a television. The villagers immediately are attracted by the new technology that they’ve never experienced. Following to his religious faith, Amin forcefully gets rid of the television, but the villagers now aware of the charm of television react against Amin. The only hope left for Amin in despair is to go on pilgrimage to Mecca. But soon his pilgrimage falls into trouble, and he faces dilemma that he never expected…
