- Synopsis
- Richard Wiltz, is a man whose wife was abducted ten years ago during a car accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down. Richard hosts a podcast and radio show called: “The True Encounters Podcast and Radio Hour”. He’s an alcoholic that lives in a small shack in the middle of the desert. He has become consumed with one mission: finding his wife, Penelope who was abducted by aliens. We learn that Richard went off the deep-end shortly after the accident. We witness Richard’s daily life as he struggles, stuck in an endless loop with his his dog, Buster. After an attempt to "end it all", and, in what Richard thinks is a dream, Penelope appears, telling Richard to find her. Richard wakes, to find that his legs are restored, but notices a strange tattoo that appears to be alien writing on his arm. It’s a showdown of other-worldly proportions in the thrilling conclusion of Static Codes.
