    • Synopsis
    • Raw, strange sex scenes rush together. Anne, a Parisian journalist, plays back her recorder. Leading a pleasant life and juggling family, work and leisure, she is investigating student prostitution. She meets Alicja, a Polish student whose persona is a troubling and seductive mélange of ambition, sensitivity and impulse, and Charlotte, a French woman, more reserved and viewing her prostitution as part of a bitter social struggle. Having “clients” allows the two women to continue their studies, juggling exams, competitions, bills, the struggle to find housing and the social pressure to lead a life like those of better-off students. Their daily lives are punctuated by paid sexual acts, far from any outside regard. Encounters which are often less sinister and more pleasurable than the two women would imagine, but which by nature lead to the loss of all innocence. Anne is sensitive to the students’ social realities, but little by little their stories touch her more profoundly, leading her to question her own assumptions and sexuality.
