A group of tourists staying in Bali during the day of silence festival realise than an evil spirit has possessed one of their hosts. Nothing could have prepared them for the horror that unfolds as they try to survive while trapped in their guesthouse.

- Synopsis
- Two young half Indonesian sisters, raised in the US, decide to discover their mother’s culture.
  Jaya, a professional skateboarder, with a troubled history of night terrors, self harm, and tranquilizer addiction and Meredith, an Instagram influencer haunted by the suicide of a rival, travel to Bali to experience Nyepi, the Day of Silence, during which fire, light, electricity, travelling and revelry are prohibited.
  They’re invited to a temple ceremony by their uncle Komang, a Pecalang Community Policeman. Only when hotel guests violate traditional Nyepi codes of silence the incensed Komang becomes abnormally violent. The residents appologise and carry out an improvised ceremony of atonement.
  But when they discover the decapitated head of one of the other guests lying on the floor of the bedroom they realise that Komang has become posessed by an evil spirit...
  
  Grayson along with Oliver, a self-appointed expert on Balinese culture soon believe that the spirit is none other than Rangda, the witch Queen of Bali.
  Oliver claims their survival depends on summoning Barong, the King of Spirits. After narrowly thwarting several attempts by Komang to kill them, Bastian - Meredith's ex boyfriend - desperately tries to call for help but the Internet and cellphone coverage are cut off for Nyepi.
  They attempt to barricade doors and windows only to discover a blood trail: Komang has somehow already slipped inside the house. As Rangda becomes deadlier, she leaves Komang's body and reveals in her true self: an old woman, with long and unkempt hair and claws.
  The group completes the ritual to summon Barong but some of them won't make it to sunrise alive...
