- Synopsis
- 　"Does anyone remember seeing me in this town?"
  
  　In the Edo period, a disheveled man arrives in a town. He comes across a woman named Kita. The man helps her escape when she is caught stealing. The man has amnesia, he doesn't even know his name. Out of gratitude, Kita decides to return the favor. She calls him No Name and recruits Genma, a playwright, and the thuggish Oma brothers to help her work out the man's identity.
  
  　One thing becomes clear. The man is wanted by assassins. His amazing swordsmanship helps him survive their attempts to kill him. A memory is triggered when he hears about a group of criminals called the Shades. A loved one died in tragic circumstances.
  
  　Meanwhile, the commander's assistant Shido Kurama is hatching a scheme with Jingo Saratsuki that will affect everything. The memory of a loved one's demise. His amazing swordsmanship. Mysterious assassins are after him. He holds the key to the mystery...
