    • Synopsis
    • Her first love has left her.
Working at a trading company, Hyun-jung is a bright and enthusiastic young woman to whom both work and love is fun. Her abilities recognized at work, Hyun-jung also has Min-suk, a warm and kind companion of seven years by her side who can read her thoughts just by looking into her eyes. But then one day, with a cold look, Min-suk tells Hyun-jung goodbye.
“It’s just that, I feel myself disappearing more and more.”
A new love appears before her, hopefully a love that will be her last.
Around the same time, another man, Sang-hoon appears before Hyun-jung declaring his love. Wordlessly, he hands her his business card and a bouquet of flowers. At this gesture, the broken heart she had buried so deep opens up painfully and Hyun-jung breaks down into tears. Sang-hoon bashfully confesses his feelings for her. “Hyun-jung, you are the most beautiful woman in this building.” Hyun-jung no longer believes in unconditional love, like the one she shared with Min-suk. Rather, because she believes that his feelings for her will not change and since she doesn’t think that there is anyone else who’d love her this much, Hyun-jung decides to marry Sang-hoon.
“Now, I can’t stand guys who don’t get married and just date for a long time. I don’t think it’s who you love that is important but how you love someone that is.”
When the expression of love is different between a couple, the more they love, the more difficult it becomes for the other.
Hae-jung, Hyun-jung’s younger sister, worries that Hyun-jung is still not over Min-suk. However, Hyun-jung clearly insists that her love for Sang-hoon is different from the love she had for Min-suk and that she has already forgotten Min-suk. After their marriage, Hyun-jung grows fonder of Sang-hoon and she expresses her love more passionately. On the other hand, instead of sharing his inner feelings, Sang-hoon expresses his love by only showing Hyun-jung his good side. Hyun-jung believes love is two people becoming one. But Sang-hoon believes love is not letting your partner suffer even if it means to worry and hurt alone. With their methods of love differing so greatly, the conflict between the two grows. At this time, Hyun-jung’s past love Min-suk shows up. He tells her that he is unable to forget her and confesses his love for her. Hyun-jung is conflicted once more.
“I’ve tried to live life the right way. Why is it I feel apologetic to everyone…?”
