- Synopsis
- Gungo is a young caveman, a skinny weakling accustomed to a life of ease as son
  
  of the Chief of all the tribes. In an era in which brute strength is what counts in the
  
  constant fight for survival, he appears to have not a care in the world. He has
  
  never worked a day in his life, and the only thing he is passionate about is making
  
  up dance moves he calls Tik-Roks.
  
  But one day, his father suddenly falls ill and Gungo suddenly inherits the position
  
  of Chief. But the tribes, not considering him fit to govern, force him to prove
  
  himself in the Cave Games. His lack of experience in competitions earns him the
  
  title of the worst athlete in history and as a result he is expelled. What he doesn't
  
  know is that everything is a plot to dethrone his father and expel him from the
  
  valley. Thus, there will be no heir and his uncle will be the immediate Chief.If Gungo wants to rescue his father, he must survive in the inhospitable and
  
  dangerous lands of the desert, to earn the confidence of those who have been
  
  exiled in the past, many of whom he had mocked as they were being banished.
  
  He teams up with Yahi, a beautiful and intelligent artist; Ponk, mankind’s earliest
  
  proponent of farming, obsessed with discovering how plants grow; Ayashure, a
  
  diminutive genius, whose ideas are tens of thousands of years ahead of their time;
  
  Tooth, an undernourished saber-toothed tiger; and Zug, a veteran of the Games
  
  now advanced in years and who has lost more than a few of his marbles along the
  
  way. Together they will have to train in the most adverse of conditions so they can
  
  compete in the next Rock Bottom Games and unmask the villains behind the
  
  plot to seize power.Gungo will have to grow up fast and learn what it means to be a leader. To do this,
  
  he needs to resolve the aspects of his personality that have prevented him from
  
  recognizing the true worth of those around him. He will need to discover his own
  
  talents and understand that true strength comes from unity, embracing
  
  differences and common purpose.
