- Synopsis
- Anita is a dynamic young lady who works for an NGO towards the welfare of children. She gets married to Raj, the handsome and docile younger son of the wealthy industrialist Mr Desai.
  Soon after marriage an assignment from her office takes her to a village Gangapur’s rural primary health centre (PHC). An emotional bond develops between Anita and Radha, her caretaker at the dak bungalow in the village. Anita is disturbed by the hardships faced by pregnant Radha in raising her two daughters while coping with the domestic violence by her drunken husband Gangaram. In the meanwhile Anita discovers that she is pregnant and has to face the wrath of her in-laws for not agreeing to abort the girl child.
  Things take a turn for worse when Radha goes into labour following domestic violence and delivers a stillborn baby girl at home. But the reality is something else. Thus starts the journey for Anita to get justice for Radha. Young Kabir, the wise NGO associate and a man of few words, provides Anita the support she needs by becoming her friend, philosopher, and guide.
  Will Anita be able to do justice towards the cause that she has been fighting for? Will her personal life with Raj suffer? Will traditions again rule as always or truth will prevail?
