    • Synopsis
    • Daniel is a high school senior who dreams of becoming a musician, but after not being selected in a talent casting he gets frustrated and torments himself thinking about the future. He also has a complicated relationship with his father, attendance problems at school and still has memories of the last relationship he had with a girl.

Daniel relies emotionally on his two best friends, Teo and Mariana, who are also going through crucial moments in their lives. On the one hand, Teo meets a boy at a party, who invites him to go to the Pride March, but is afraid to reveal his sexual orientation and disappoint his mother, while Mariana is harassed by her uncle at a family reunion, but is afraid to talk about this situation and that her family does not believe her. This silence makes her insecure about making physical contact with a boy she likes.

One day, Daniel convinces Teo to drink a bottle of alcohol while they wait for Mariana, but Mariana does not arrive and they end up getting drunk. On the spur of the moment, Teo kisses Daniel, who immediately rejects him and becomes furious. Upon arrival, Mariana tries to figure out what has happened, but Daniel acts violently towards his two friends. Completely bewildered, Teo and Mariana leave Daniel alone. Daniel decides to call his ex-girlfriend, but she asks him not to do it anymore.

The next day, Daniel does not go to school. Soon his father learns that he has been repeatedly truant, and becomes enraged to the point of severely reproaching Daniel's behavior. The tone of the argument escalates until Daniel decides to run away from home carrying only a backpack and his precious ukulele.

Daniel travels aimlessly and arrives in a remote village. Tired and hungry, he sits down at a market stall to eat, but a gang of thugs spot him and steal his belongings. Daniel chases one of them to an open field, desperate and determined not to lose the only thing he has, he manages to catch him, but in a sudden outburst, he causes the thief to hit his head on a rock and lose his life.

Repentant and guilt-ridden, Daniel wanders around the outskirts of town to avoid being found by the police, until Teo and Mariana, who were very worried about him, manage to contact him and catch up with him. Upon meeting, the three friends reconcile and spend time camping and resolving to tell what torments them. Both Teo and Mariana come clean and tell their sorrows, but Daniel does not dare to reveal that he has killed someone.

The police are already looking for Daniel, who knows it is only a matter of time before they catch him, so he sends his friends away promising them that when he feels better he will return to the city.

Daniel writes a letter of reconciliation to his father and heads to the sea to spend his last moments of freedom. As he walks along the beach he hears a police siren approaching.
