    • Ryan John Phillips was on the road to hockey greatness. Through a bad turn of events, he ended up in a federal detention center for nearly 16 months for smuggling marijuana into the United States. Through adversity and a willingness to never accept failure, he has embarked on a journey to self acceptance, love and a spiritual transformation to happiness. Return to Happiness is the documentary which starts in Vancouver BC, then off to many different countries in Southeast Asia. It was a wild adventure that shows amazing real life situations and culture intertwined with Ryan's life story. He tapped into the human spirit, and found what makes people from all over the world truly happy.
