    • Synopsis
    • Queer love is a contemporary story of two young queer-women finding their place in the world. NADIA (26) and LARISSA(26) are best friends since they were kids.
They met in middle school, in São Paulo, where Nadia had recently moved with her dad, after her parents split up. Her mom was a guitarist in a famous Brazilian band, the world tours turned her into an absent mom to Nadia, who found herself in a very conservative, and quite oppressive, household, after her dad got remarried to Claudia, who is a very devoted Christian.
Larissa, on the other hand, grew up with two dads in a liberal artsy/queer environment, she was an essential support system to Nadia throughout the years. Laura has another best friend, VITOR (26), who is nonbinary, uses the pronouns (He/They), identifies as gay and works as a holistic therapist in São Paulo. They met when Laura scheduled a reading for herself, ever since then, the two queer friends became inseparable. Vitor is very intuitive and gives the best relationship advices, but is blindsided when it comes to his own love life.

After college graduation, Nadia moved to Belo Horizonte to be with her boyfriend FERNANDO (28). Despite of the distance, the friendship remains strong, as they communicate via text and Facetime on a daily basis.
Nadia always did what was expected of her, from the clothes she wears to the college she attended or even her relationship, which she fails to recognize is toxic, and that aggravates her depressive symptoms as well as her eating disorder. On top of everything, she absolutely hates her boring 9-5 job. As if she didn't have enough on her plate, the rain starts pouring rainbows when she meets ANA (26), a gorgeous lesbian that turns her world upside down.
Larissa is thriving as an upcoming plastic artist in São Paulo, she booked her very first gallery exhibition! On the love side, however, things are not going so smoothly. She's constantly getting herself in disastrous dates. And let me tell you, the drama never seems to reach rock bottom. When she finally finds "the one", it all feels too good to be true, because it is.
