    • Synopsis
    • The story follows Molly, a 25-year-old woman living in a small town in Estonia. As a teenager, Molly was homeless and got involved with a gang led by Ben who trained her to steal babies from hospitals and sell them to wealthy couples. Now an adult, Molly continues working for Ben's illegal baby-selling operation, partnering with Serge, a young man new to the business.
Molly soon discovers she is pregnant herself. Unsure if Serge or someone else is the father, she considers an abortion but is told it's too risky. Serge promises to support Molly and the baby, envisioning them becoming a family. However, after a failed kidnapping attempt leads to the death of Serge's new partner Diana, Molly flees to the neighboring country without
      telling Serge.
Serge takes over leadership of the gang and forces Molly back into prostitution when she returns. Desperate, Molly turns to her old homeless friends for help getting revenge. After a violent confrontation leaves Serge and his men dead, Molly escapes with Paulina, a fellow gang member.
Months later, Molly goes into early labor at Paulina's home. She delivers the baby alone, refusing pain medication due to past drug use. After birth, she tells the doctor to put the baby up for adoption, believing he shouldn't suffer for
her sins. The story ends with Molly convinced that children born into misery should be given a chance at happiness with a new family.
