- Synopsis
- Privacy is a psychological thriller set in and out of Mumbai slums. It examines the role of surveillance cameras in one of the most densely populated cities in the world - a story that is relevant to other major cities such as New York, London, Singapore and Hong Kong.
  
  Loner Roopali works at the Mumbai surveillance camera command center as an operator. At her job, she watches over a specific area every day, reporting suspicious activities & incidents.
  
  She lives in a tenement housing project, where one thing she craves but doesn’t get is privacy.
  
  While being ambitious, she constantly fights her own guilt and resists her dark past. Things start to get complicated when Roopali ignores protocol and begins to investigate a robbery/murder that takes place on her watch.
  
  The film takes the neo-noir approach to explore the themes of mental health, voyeurism, and access to information.
