    • “An elder brother does not worth the effort.”
In downtown Osaka, Toshiki and Fumiko have lived without their parents, supporting each other. “An elder brother must always protect his sister,”—these were the words of their late father, and Toshiki has lived by them, acting as a substitute father to Fumiko.
Now, Fumiko has found a job and works at a university, enjoying days filled with warmth and happiness. However, Toshiki is sometimes unsettled by a secret Fumiko has been carrying.

When Fumiko was a little girl, before she started primary school, she came down with a fever. After recovering, she suddenly seemed more mature and became obsessed with writing something in her notebook. When Toshiki looked inside, he found the pages were filled with an unfamiliar name, “Shigeta Kiyomi.”
Kiyomi was a bus tour guide who was tragically lost her life in a bus hijacking at the age of 24. Fumiko told Toshiki that she was Kiyomi’s reincarnation.

“Brother, do me this one favor in my life,” Fumiko pleaded.
Guided by Fumiko’s “past memory,” the siblings visited the Shigeta family. There, they discovered that Kiyomi’s father was still unable to recover from the loss of her. Seeing this, Fumiko made a bento filled with flowers, which was “Flowe Bite” that Kiyomi used to pretend to eat when she was child. Fumiko asked Toshiki to deliver it to Kiyomi’s father.

Kiyomi’s father saw a resemblance to his late daughter in Fumiko and approached her, intending to embrace her. Toshiki stopped him.
The siblings left, with Fumiko making a promise never to visit the Shigeta Family again.

Many years have passed. One day, Fumiko tells Toshiki that she is going to marry a colleague. Seeing how well she and her fiancé get along, Toshiki hopes for their happiness. However, the secret Fumiko kept hiding unexpectedly surfaces just before the wedding ceremony. Toshiki is surprised, but behind it lies Fumiko’s poignant hope.
