    • INTERRACIAL ROMANTIC COMEDY
      An illegal Indian immigrant named Ravi falls in love with Angela, a backup singer in rock band, but marries Nina, the beautiful lesbian daughter of owner of the tandoori restaurant where he works so he can bring his infant daughter into the country. The story straddles the worlds of an exploited busboy with a heart bigger than his wallet and a singer struggling to be heard.
      In this anti-romantic love story, the words “I love you” are the complication, not the happy ending. Tradition confronts passion, chicken tikka meets TVQ and the 21st century definition of family transcends blood, race, class and sexual orientation. Ravi, Angela and Nina make a perfect arrangement that appears complicated, yet becomes a completely obvious solution to their problems.
