Oscar, a farmer living in Saavedra, southern Chile, leaves to work on an island with the Sierra Verde Forestry. Strange magical appearances link him to Lorenzo, a Mapuche who lives in captivity, with whom they begin a strong friendship, threatened by the arrival of the forestry.

    • Synopsis
    • On the outskirts of Saavedra, a town in southern Chile, lives Oscar, a farmer harvesting potatoes with his wife Maria and his son Miguel. The economic situation is precarious after losing his harvest, he is forced to look for another job. The forestry company Sierra Verde hires him, to look after an island, where they will start forestry work, mainly cutting down the forest. Strange appearances of magical entities link him to Lorenzo, a Mapuche who lives captive. As the days go by, they start to create a friendship through which Oscar gets to know the Mapuche 'cosmovision'. Their friendship is threatened by the ethical doubt of Oscar, who does not want to lose his friend but neither his job. The arrival of the forestry is imminent. Oscar has to decide between this magical friendship or saving his job.
