    • Synopsis
    • Laura is a young single mother. Her only consolation is to look out the window to smoke and contemplate the life of her neighbors. That's how she meets Felicia, a lady who has begun to suffer from senile dementia and lives alone. Laura has been in the capital for two years, has a part-time job that she hates and that barely allows her to pay the rent and take care of her seven-month-old daughter. One day, Laura decides to sneak into Felicia's house and starts living with her, taking advantage of her illness. Laura needs a place to live and Felicia needs someone to take care of her. Laura learns about Felicia's past life from the ornaments, the pictures of old heroes, the clothes, the photos she finds in the house. Felicia was a woman who dedicated her whole life to the construction of the Revolution; however, now she is alone and abandoned. Laura has to sell many of these objects to earn some more money, because, no matter how hard she tries, it is impossible for her to take care of her daughter and Felicia, and at the same time to work. Finally she has to make a decision, which leads her to separate from her daughter. Laura has to change her life in order to survive, so she breaks with her past and faces a new present to the point of assuming a new identity.
