- Synopsis
- Héctor and Alvarito live together, they have lived practically all their lives together but they are not brothers.
  Hector is tall, sturdy, somewhat elusive and protective, at first sight, gives the image of a "henchman."
  Alvarito is more elegant, nice, charlatan, kind of flake and excessively correct.
  This duo automatically refers us to characters of 50’s TV shows, but they are not comedy duo or anything that resembles that.
  They are closer to being survivors than famous actors.
  They have suffered, cared for, supported, loved and protected each other for the last 40 years.
  Hector and Alvarito are survivors of a perverse and macabre system that condemned them to live deprived of their freedoms and rights.
  They share a similar diagnosis, Moderate Mental Retardation and for that reason they spent most of their lives interned in Colonia Montes de Oca more than 50 years imprisoned, a bestial punishment that a detainee in a common prison system, would hardly fulfill.
  Currently they are part of an externalization project that tries to make their lives acquire another value.
  For 3 years they have lived in a house in the city of Luján, shared with other former inmates in similar situation.
  With some difficulty they manage to insert themselves into the daily life of the city by transforming the different worldly actions into small extraordinary experiences.
  Cooking, working on some gig and talking to neighbors are irreplaceable benefits.
  None of them wish, under any circumstances to return to the Colony.
  His story was there, his memories, his companions, birthdays, jobs, parties, love and couples.
  Institutional and medical controls force them to return permanently to that institution, a reason to visit the friends who stayed in Hall 8.
  Hector and Alvarito share an advantage, they know they can return to their home in Luján and regain their freedom.
