    • Synopsis
    • The Baja California peninsula is one of Mexico’s least populated and deserted regions. Every year this tranquility is broken by the "Baja 1000", the world's largest all-terrain car race.

In one of the loneliest towns crossed by the race, a group of boys writes corridos. These songs tell the story of three fans: Rigo, Davis, and Paco.

Rigo owns a hardware store. A film enthusiast, he has recorded off-road races for years. This year he transforms his family car into an off-road truck.

Davis, a retired man, lives in an industrial ghost town. He spends his days remembering together with his childhood best friend Chinana the town’s golden years, when they had a career as race pilots.

Paco, a young journalist whose best friend died in a race accident. He decides to join the Baja 1000 as an activist to stop them

The young musicians reappear colorfully and surreally as desert spirits chronicling how Rigo, Davis, and Paco find in their journey something more important than the race itself.
