    • Synopsis
    • On a train journey to somewhere new, an enthusiastic young passenger gains unwanted attention by revealing their home tongue. They deflate in embarrassment from the sniggers and judgemental looks.

Later, a young woman finds herself in an art gallery, a little out of her depth. She cannot understand why a particularly unimpressive painting seems to be receiving adoration by everyone in the room. She’s met with sniffs of condescension and begins to experience the same humiliation she was so quick to cause on the train earlier.

From a nightclub to a laundrette, a string of narrow-minded folk continue to get a taste of their own medicine. And before we know it, our enthusiastic young train-goer finds themselves on the other side, casting judgement on another at a protest.

But this time something has changed. There is strong, mature woman who embraces her differences which inspires the young individual to do the same.

This causes a chain reaction of proud rebellion and the ‘odd ones out’ learn to celebrate their beautiful differences together.
