    • Synopsis
    • It all starts when Eris, an inquisitive college student researching her doctorate on social phobias, stumbles upon the term “noon blue apples.” She finds this meaningless term once, twice, three times – a coincidence? No, she’s told… it’s a conspiracy. Eris then finds that the “eye in the pyramid” symbol represents both the United States of America and the Bavarian Illuminati - a secret society that was formed prior to the American Revolution that may secretly control the world.
Eris’ research into the world of conspiracy soon taps into major themes in modern society and the very foundation of western civilization: politics, history, religion – linking it all eerily with the ancient ecumenical secret societies, bizarre synchronicities, conspiracy theories – all connecting to those damn noon blue apples. She soon finds - beyond the world’s new order of war and terrorism and God, beyond the X-Files, The Passion and Da Vinci’s Code - lie the New Blue Apples.
Her search leads her to an underground bookstore where ancient tomes reveal themselves to unwary victims. Her inquiries take her to a slew of colorful characters ranging from the eerily intense to the outrageous – both helping Eris in her research – others trying to prevent her. Most often the two are indistinguishable. The more credible lines of inquiry to solve the mystery of the blue apples lures Eris into a living nightmare, where she treads the thin line between reality, coincidence, and paranoia. And everything that once seemed so obvious in the world, from religion, academics and the way the world works, is suddenly cast into doubt. Eris soon learns everything she knows is a lie - EVERYTHING.
