- Synopsis
- 1.Dobya, the film, is inherently about how development is prioritized over authenticity. It depicts how we are losing the bond we have in our relationships and getting more materialistic and, thus, greedy by the minute.

  Sridas, a paid member of a fringe group, Kripamanch, stalks, harasses and tortures Tilottama for the fringe group's YouTube channel. The sadistic video content is posted publicly in the name of filtering moral impurities and safeguarding cultural norms. The story takes an abrupt turn when Sridas discovers of Tilottama's entrance into his home as his younger brother's bride. This distresses the dynamics of the fringe group, putting Sridas' reputation at stake, making him a victim of the humiliation of moral policing, shaming and bullying.
