    • Synopsis
    • Climbing on the model of a road movie as the ideal war zone where you can reflect on head-on collisions between mothers and daughters (either if they are for hugging or strangling each other), it’s still a rather effective idea. Three generations of women from the same family set out on a trip to Neuquén, and that itinerary unravels a complex hank of sentimental relationships that includes all possible combinations between mothers, daughters, grandmothers, granddaughters, and sisters. Raw, spontaneous, honest, and uncomfortable, Mothers, Daughters & Other Issues is a film that assumes the notion of family as a highly flammable and complex material, which is always developed in the off-frame of photos and home videos from family reunions.
