- Synopsis
- Welcome to Motel Melati! It's a haunted inn with enthralling stories weaved within its wall, where those who checked in never checked out or being seen again. Originally an old Dutch colonial estate once owned by a doctor named Kusno, who secretly performed horrific experiments on cadavers. After a cursed widow was hung by the villagers in front of his house, Kusno of course couldn’t pass on the opportunity of opening up the fascinatingly-scarred woman’s body — despite her daughter’s warning that he would unleash a powerful evil spirit eternally. By accepting the shadow’s curse, the dead widow’s daughter Melati gains eternal life and takes over as the host of the estate, which she converts into a motel in order to trap unsuspecting guests to feed the damned spirits in it.
