    • A film about a Korean-American family in search of hope, Minari won the Audience Award and the Grand Jury Prize for the U.S. Dramatic Competition at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. The entire cast moves the audience to tears in this film that once again put director Lee Isaac Chung on the map after his debut feature Munyurangabo (2007) premiered in the Un Certain Regard at Cannes. The father who moved the whole family to a rural town in Arkansas to start a farm, the mother who wants to return to California, and the grandmother who came to live with her daughter are captured through the eyes of young David.
