Our movie wants to show the infinite wisdom that has lasted in our people, a series of values that agree with the present world: the respect to preserve their traditions, their myths and legends that have been incorporated in their daily lives; their secular jobs, as the muleteers and farmers.

    • Synopsis
    • Oral tradition, myths and magical beings live daily with the inhabitants of the villages that cross our road. The Andes region has retained its idiosyncrasy and popular culture, which are its historical, cultural and spiritual heritage, as well as the respect and reverence they have for the environment that surrounds them and which is also present in the characters of legend, like the Momoyes, elves from the peaks.

      And although life today seems difficult, there is no comparison with the testimony of the elderly, who with a lot of humour and nostalgia, describe their past life.

      The importance of this project was to film a traditional culture protected in time and that must be saved, because often we do not appreciate things until we have lost them.

      Through the music, the songs, which serve in part as commentary, specially composed for the film, as special effects on the photos, prints and animations, we tell their stories that reflect a passion for life.

      Current status of the film: the image is finished editing, the music and songs are recorded and edited, as well as the special effects and animations.

      We are looking for a co-production to finish editing the soundtracks, mixing, DCP and promotion. In two and a half months, after beginning this works we can have the final print.
